Our server was very nice and attentive 10/10 customer service! Highly recommend the spinach dip, me and my fiance popped in for a quick bite before doing our shopping and it was by far the best spinach dip we've ever gotten! Thank you for the great experience I'm sure we will be back the next time we're in town!
The Anchor Bar is the place to be, whether you are looking for a delicious meal (I recommend the chicken penne), a few drinks, or a great spot for live music. The staff is top-notch, as well. I will definitely go again the next time I am in Hamilton.
Best chicken wings and half price on Thursdays. They have different specials everyday. The staff and owner are super and give it a family atmosphere.

Been multiple times and I have to say the burgers are amazing and you must try for yourself. The fish and chips as well as the wings are great. The beer is cold and the staff is very friendly. A must stop if you are in the area.
We recently partnered with Sunita and the Anchor Bar for a major 4-day event called the Korral Artist Showcase 2025. Sunita and the team went above and beyond for us!! They created a special event food and drink menu and provided special discounts to all our artists. Next level hospitality and generosity. The food and service are great, but it gets pretty hectic there when there's an event going on at Hamilton place or the arena, and then orders start getting messed up and/or missed. But that's not the fault of the servers. Management needs to bring in more servers when there's an event going on in the area so they're not getting overwhelmed. Overall I love this place and I'm going to keep coming back.
I drove all the way from Toronto just for the karaoke at Anchor Bar, and let me tell you, it was SO worth it! Mike, the karaoke guy, was absolutely amazing! His energy and enthusiasm made the night unforgettable. He kept the crowd engaged and ensured everyone had a blast. If you're a karaoke fan, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town! Thanks for the great memories, Mike!
